Jean Ann Ewers (September 11, 1929 – August 27, 2011), known as Eve Brent, was an American actress. She was famous for playing Jane in the movie Tarzan's Fight for Life. She also appeared in many other films and TV shows.

Biography
Early Life and Start in Acting
Eve Brent was born as Jean Ann Ewers in Houston, Texas, in 1929. She grew up in Fort Worth. From a young age, she was involved in acting. She performed on radio, appeared in TV commercials, acted in movies, and even on stage in theaters.
Her Acting Career
Eve Brent started her film career with roles in movies like Gun Girls (1956) and Forty Guns (1957).
A big role for her was playing Jane in the 1958 film Tarzan's Fight for Life. She was the 12th actress to play Jane alongside Gordon Scott as Tarzan. She also played Jane in Tarzan and the Trappers (1958). This was originally filmed as a TV pilot, but it was later turned into a movie.
She also appeared in an episode of The Veil, a TV series hosted by Boris Karloff.
Awards and Later Work
In 1980, Eve Brent won a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. This award was for her role as Aunt Stella Binford in the movie Fade to Black.
Later in her career, she appeared in a Christmas TV commercial for Publix Super Markets in 1998. One of her most well-known roles from this time was in The Green Mile (1999). She continued to act in television shows. She made guest appearances on shows like Frasier (2006), Scrubs (2006), and Community (2010). She also appeared on Emergency! in 1974.
Later Life and Passing
Eve Brent was married a few times during her life. Her last husband, Michael Ashe, passed away in 2008.
Eve Brent died on August 27, 2011, from natural causes. She was almost 82 years old.
