Ewha Girls' High School (Korean: 이화여자고등학교) is a private school for girls in Jeong-dong, Jung District, Seoul, South Korea. It is a very old and famous school! It's important not to mix it up with the coeducational Ewha Womans University High School. Even though they have similar names and are run by the same group, they are different schools. The university high school is located near Ewha Woman's University and works as a practice school for teachers.

History of Ewha Girls' High School
Ewha Girls' High School began as a special mission school for girls. It was called Ewha Haktang and was founded on May 31, 1886. The founder was Mary F. Scranton. Over time, the school grew and started offering college-level classes. The college part later became Ewha Womans University. A building for staff and students was finished in 1900. The current principal, Kim Hye-jeong, became the school's 15th principal in February 2017.

At Ewha Girls' High School, every student joins a club. These are called co-curricular activities. The school has 34 clubs. They are grouped into five main types: academics, performance, service, media/debate, and arts/physical education.
