Fábio Leopoldo's Journey
Starting His Own Academy
After finishing college with a degree in International Business, Fábio Leopoldo decided to open his own Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school. He named it Gracie Morumbi. This first academy was in São Paulo, Brazil, and he started it in 1999.
Since then, Fábio has been the main teacher and owner of Gracie Morumbi. He has also opened two more schools in the United States. One is in Ventura, California, and the other is in Thousand Oaks, California.
Amazing Achievements in Jiu-Jitsu
Fábio Leopoldo is a highly successful Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor. He has won the World Champion title six times! He also won the Brazilian champion title twice. On top of that, he is a seven-time Pan American champion.
Recently, he also earned a gold medal at the IBJJF International Masters competition. These wins show how skilled and dedicated he is to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
