José Fábio Santos de Oliveira (born April 21, 1987) is a Brazilian football player. He is known as Fábio or Fábio Santos. He plays as a striker, which means he is a player who tries to score goals. Currently, he plays for a team called URT.

Fábio Santos's Football Journey

Fábio Santos started his professional football career in Japan. He played for a team called Mito HollyHock in 2005. While there, he played in 13 games and scored 3 goals. After that, he joined another Japanese team, Shonan Bellmare. He played 15 games for them and also scored 3 goals.

Returning to Brazil

In 2006, Fábio Santos moved back to Brazil. He first joined Coruripe. Then, he played for Gama. His next team was Villa Rio. He stayed with Villa Rio for four seasons. However, he only played 14 matches for them. This was because he often went to play for other teams on loan.

Loan Spells and New Teams

In 2008, Fábio Santos went on loan to Botafogo. This was a good time for him, as he scored 7 goals in 30 games. He returned to Villa Rio in 2009. Soon after, he went on loan to Tokushima Vortis in Japan. He scored 3 goals in 30 matches there.

After his time in Japan, he came back to Brazil. He joined São Caetano. Then, he had another loan spell with Oeste in 2011. He later left Villa Rio permanently. He signed with Avaí. During his time with Avaí (2011-2012), he also went on loan twice. He played for Vitória and then for Red Bull Brasil.

Later Career

In 2013, Fábio Santos went back to Asia. He joined Daegu in South Korea. He played only two games there before returning to Brazil. He signed a short contract with his former loan club, Oeste. He played 15 games for Oeste over two seasons. These games were in a league called Série D.

After Oeste, he played for several other teams. These included Ponte Preta, América, and Central. Most recently, he joined URT. He played his first game for URT against Cruzeiro in the 2016 Campeonato Mineiro tournament.
