Fábio Santos Romeu, known simply as Fábio Santos, is a Brazilian former professional footballer. He was born on September 16, 1985, in São Paulo, Brazil. Fábio Santos played as a left back, a defensive position on the field. He was also known for being very good at taking penalty kicks.

Fábio Santos's Club Journey
Starting at São Paulo
Fábio Santos began his football journey as a young player at São Paulo. He joined the main team in 2003. During this time, his club won important titles like the Copa Libertadores and the FIFA Club World Cup. Even though he didn't play much, he gained experience.
Playing on Loan
In 2006, Fábio Santos went to Japan to play for Kashima Antlers. He played 20 games and scored three goals there. The next year, 2007, he returned to Brazil to play for Cruzeiro. He then moved to France for a year, joining Monaco. In 2008, he came back to Brazil again and signed with Santos.
Time with Grêmio
After leaving Santos, Fábio Santos joined Grêmio. He played for them from 2009 to 2010.
Success with Corinthians
Fábio Santos joined Corinthians in January 2011. He quickly became a very important player for the team. He helped Corinthians win many big championships. These included the 2011 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the 2012 Copa Libertadores, and the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup. He also won the 2013 Campeonato Paulista and the 2013 Recopa Sudamericana with them.
Playing for Cruz Azul
In June 2015, Fábio Santos moved to Mexico to play for Cruz Azul. He played 26 games and scored 3 goals for the team. He played a lot in his first season. However, in his second season, he did not get as much playing time. He left the club after that season.
Joining Atlético Mineiro
Fábio Santos signed with Atlético Mineiro in June 2016. He played for them for four years. In 2016, he won the Bola de Prata award, which recognized him as the best left back in the 2016 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. He also won his first trophy with the club, the 2017 Campeonato Mineiro, in 2017. In 2018, he played his 100th game for Atlético Mineiro.
Returning to Corinthians
Fábio Santos returned to Corinthians in October 2020. He played for them until 2023, adding more games and goals to his impressive career.
