Early Life and School
Fátima Bosch was born in Teapa, Tabasco, Mexico. Her parents are Bernardo Bosch Hernández and Vanessa Fernández Balboa. She also has a brother named Bernardo Jr. Bosch.
Fátima went to elementary and high school at Colegio Arji and Instituto Cumbres Villahermosa. Later, from 2021 to 2024, she studied at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. There, she earned a university degree in fashion and apparel design.
Her Family Name
The name Bosch comes from the Catalan language. This language is spoken in a part of Spain. The word "Bosch" means "forest."
Journey to Miss Universe
Flor Tabasco Competition
In 2018, Fátima Bosch won the title of Flor Tabasco. She represented her hometown, Teapa, in this competition. The final event took place on August 27, 2018, in Villahermosa. Fátima competed against 16 other contestants and was crowned the winner.
Becoming Miss Universe Mexico
Fátima Bosch represented the state of Tabasco in the Miss Universe Mexico competition. She competed with 32 other young women. The final event was held on September 13, 2025, in Zapopan, Jalisco. Fátima was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025. The previous winner, Fernanda Beltrán, passed on her crown to Fátima.
Winning Miss Universe 2025
Fátima Bosch represented Mexico at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant. This big event took place on November 21, 2025, in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand. She competed against 100 other candidates from around the world.
After the final competition, Fátima was crowned the winner of Miss Universe 2025. She became the fourth Mexican woman to achieve this honor. Other Mexican winners include Lupita Jones, Ximena Navarrete, and Andrea Meza.
During the final round, Fátima was asked an important question. She was asked how she would use her new platform to inspire girls everywhere. Fátima answered that women should speak up and believe in their own worth. She said that no one should ever question their value.
