Facundo "Facu" Campazzo (born March 23, 1991) is a professional basketball player from Argentina. He plays as a point guard for Real Madrid in Spain. He is also a key player for the Argentine national basketball team.
Facundo is known for his amazing passing skills and quick moves on the court. He has won many championships, including two EuroLeague titles with Real Madrid in 2015 and 2018. He also helped Argentina win a silver medal at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Facundo's Basketball Journey
Starting in Argentina: Peñarol (2008–2014)
Facundo started his professional basketball career in 2008 with Peñarol in Argentina. He quickly became a star player.
With Peñarol, he won the Argentine League championship four times (2010, 2011, 2012, 2014). He also helped his team win other important tournaments like the Argentine Cup and the FIBA Americas League championship in 2010.
Facundo earned many awards during this time. He was named the "Revelation of the Year" in 2010, meaning he was a standout new player. He was also named the MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the Argentine Cup in 2010 and the Argentine Super 8 Tournament MVP twice.
Playing in Spain: Real Madrid (2014–2020)
In 2014, Facundo moved to Spain to play for Real Madrid, one of Europe's biggest basketball clubs. In his first season (2014–15), Real Madrid won the EuroLeague championship, which is like the Champions League for European basketball. They also won the Spanish League title, completing a "triple crown" (winning three major titles in one season).
In 2015, Facundo was loaned to another Spanish team, UCAM Murcia, for two seasons. This helped him get more playing time and improve his skills even further. He returned to Real Madrid in 2017.
In May 2018, Real Madrid won the EuroLeague championship again, with Facundo playing a big role. He was known for his many assists, helping his teammates score. In 2019, he set a new record for assists in a EuroLeague Final Four game with 15 assists! In 2020, he tied the all-time record for most assists in a single EuroLeague game with 19.
Playing in the NBA: Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks (2020–2022)
In 2020, Facundo took his talent to the NBA in the United States, signing with the Denver Nuggets. He played for the Nuggets for two seasons, showing his tough defense and passing skills against the best players in the world.
In October 2022, he briefly played for the Dallas Mavericks.
Back to Europe: Crvena zvezda and Real Madrid (2022–Present)
After his time in the NBA, Facundo signed with Crvena zvezda, a team in Serbia, in December 2022. He helped them win the Serbian league championship and the Serbian Cup.
In July 2023, Facundo made an exciting return to Real Madrid. In February 2024, he won his third Spanish Cup with Madrid and was named the tournament's MVP for the second time. He continues to be a star player for Real Madrid.
Playing for Argentina: National Team Career
Facundo has proudly represented his home country, Argentina, since he was young.
Junior National Team
He won a gold medal with Argentina's under-16 team in 2007.
Senior National Team
Facundo has been a key player for the senior Argentine national team for many years. He played in the 2012 London Olympics and the 2016 Rio Olympics.
