Fallon is a small, unincorporated town in Prairie County, Montana, United States. It's not officially a city, but a community. The United States Census Bureau also uses the name Fallon for a "census-designated place" (CDP). This means they draw a boundary around the area to count people. So, the population numbers might include people living just outside the main town.
In 2020, about 122 people lived in the Fallon CDP. The town's current mayor is Colin Armould.

What's in a Name?
Fallon and its county are named after O’Fallon Creek. This creek got its name from Benjamin O'Fallon. He was an important person who worked with Native American tribes in the upper Missouri River area from 1823 to 1827.
