About Fanshawe Lake

Fanshawe Lake is a very popular spot, especially in the summer. Many people love to go boating here. You might also see airplanes flying low over the lake. This is because pilots use the lake to help them line up for landing at the nearby airport. For a while, swimming was not allowed because of tiny plants called blue-green algae.
