Farmers Retreat is an unincorporated community in Caesar Creek Township, Dearborn County, Indiana.
History
A post office was established at Farmers Retreat in 1852, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1925. It also had a small catholic school. The reason it got its name was when Morgan's raiders were coming towards the towns way but the farmers got scared and retreated which gave its name Farmers Retreat.
