Felicia D. Henderson was born on April 18, 1961. She grew up in Pasadena, California, where she still lives today. She is one of eight children in her family.

Felicia has always loved writing. She calls herself a "researchaholic," meaning she loves to learn new things.

She went to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and earned a degree in Psycho-Biology. After working in business for five years, she went back to school. She got a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Georgia. She also has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from UCLA.

Felicia's Amazing Career

Felicia Henderson started her career at NBC, a big TV network. She soon realized she wanted to be a writer. Her first jobs were helping out on popular sitcoms. These included Family Matters and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

She later helped produce Moesha and Sister, Sister. Felicia also helped create the TV series Soul Food. This show became a very important drama. It was the longest-running drama with a Black cast in TV history. It also won several NAACP Image Awards.

Felicia and three friends started a special scholarship. It's called the Four Sisters Scholarship. It helps students who want to write, direct, or animate. The scholarship supports projects that show the African American experience.

Felicia also worked as a producer for the teen drama Gossip Girl. She was also a producer for the science-fiction show Fringe. Later, she started writing for DC Comics. She wrote for comic series like Teen Titans and Static Shock.
