Femi Taylor, born on April 8, 1961, is an actress and dancer from Nigeria and Britain. She is most famous for playing Oola, a dancer character, in the 1983 movie Return of the Jedi. Oola was a Twi'lek slave dancer for Jabba the Hutt in the Star Wars universe.

Femi Taylor has had an exciting career as both an actress and a dancer. She is well-known for her roles in popular movies and musicals.
Star Wars Role
Taylor played the character Oola in Return of the Jedi. This was the final movie in the first Star Wars film series. She played a dancer who was a slave to Jabba the Hutt.
Many years later, in 1997, a special version of Return of the Jedi was released. Femi Taylor was the only actor from the original movie who came back to film new scenes for this special edition. Because of her role as Oola, she often attends Star Wars and science fiction events around the world.
Musical Theatre
Before her Star Wars role, Femi Taylor was cast in the original London production of the musical Cats in 1981. She played a character named Tantomile. While working on Cats, she found out she had been chosen to play Oola in Return of the Jedi.
Later, in 1998, Taylor also appeared in the TV movie version of Cats. For this film, a special character named Exotica was created just for her.

Femi Taylor lives in Odense, Denmark. She is married to Claus Skytte and they have two children together.
