Feridun İsmail Buğeker (born April 5, 1933 – died October 6, 2014) was a talented Turkish football player. He was known as a forward, which means he played in an attacking position to score goals. Feridun Buğeker played for the Turkish national team and even took part in the 1954 FIFA World Cup. He spent many years playing for the famous club Fenerbahçe S.K.. He was born and passed away in Istanbul, Turkey, at the age of 81.

Football Journey

Feridun Buğeker started his football career in Turkey. He played for a club called Beyoğluspor from 1949 to 1952. This was where he began to show his skills as a forward.

Playing for Fenerbahçe

His talent quickly caught the eye of bigger clubs. From 1952 to 1955, Feridun played for Fenerbahçe S.K., one of Turkey's biggest football teams. During this time, he played 42 games and scored 15 goals for the club.

Time in Germany

After his first period at Fenerbahçe, Feridun Buğeker moved to Germany. He joined the club Stuttgarter Kickers and played there from 1955 to 1961. This was a new experience for him, playing football in a different country. He played 22 matches and scored 4 goals during his time in Germany.

Return to Fenerbahçe

Feridun returned to Fenerbahçe S.K. in 1961. He played for them again until 1963. His second time at Fenerbahçe was very successful. He played 70 more games and scored an impressive 31 goals. This shows he was a very important player for the team.
