His Acting Career
Fernando Sancho was known for playing certain types of characters. He often played a Mexican bandit in movies called Spaghetti Westerns. These were Western films made in Europe, especially Italy. Some of his famous Spaghetti Westerns include The Big Gundown, A Pistol for Ringo, and Return of Ringo.
He also acted in many Spanish horror movies during the 1960s and 1970s. One of his well-known horror roles was a corrupt mayor in Return of the Blind Dead. He also appeared in Orloff and the Invisible Man (1971). This film was a follow-up to the The Awful Dr. Orloff movies.
Fernando Sancho had a small part in the big movie Lawrence of Arabia (1962). He played a Turkish sergeant who arrested the main character, T. E. Lawrence. He also acted in five Greek war movies between 1970 and 1973. These films were about important historical events like World War II and the Greek War of Independence.
