Fernando Soler (born Fernando Díaz Pavia; May 24, 1896 – October 25, 1979) was a famous Mexican actor, director, writer, and producer. He was a very important person during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, which was a special time for movies in Mexico.
Fernando Soler worked in films for over sixty years. During this long career, he acted in more than one hundred movies!
Early life
Fernando Soler was born in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. His full birth name was Fernando Díaz Pavía. He was born on May 24, 1896. His parents were Domingo Díaz García and Irene Pavía Soler.
Fernando was the oldest of his siblings. His younger brothers were Andrés Soler, Domingo Soler, and Julián Soler. He also had a sister named Mercedes Soler. His family was so well-known in the movie world that they were called the Soler Dynasty. This means many people in his family were famous actors and filmmakers.
He was also the uncle of two other actors, Alejandro Ciangherotti and Fernando Luján.
