Early Career as a Film Critic
From 1974 to 1979, Fernando Trueba wrote about movies for a big newspaper in Spain called El País. He shared his thoughts and opinions on different films. In 1980, he started his own movie magazine, Casablanca. He was the editor and director of this magazine for its first two years.
Writing Books and Music
Fernando Trueba has also written books. One of his well-known books is called Diccionario. He also edited a book about Latin Jazz music, titled Diccionario del Jazz Latino.
