Ferrari Sheppard, born in 1983, is an American artist. His art style is inspired by famous artists like Willem de Kooning, Cy Twombly, and Joan Mitchell. He also looks up to artists from the Harlem Renaissance such as Jacob Lawrence and Romare Bearden.
Ferrari Sheppard is also part of a hip-hop music group called Dec 99th with Yasiin Bey. They released their album, December 99th, in 2016. Today, Sheppard lives and works in Los Angeles, California.

Early Life
Ferrari Sheppard was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1983. After his family moved back to Chicago from New York City, Sheppard followed his passion for art. He studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC).
Art Career
In 2016, Sheppard started painting again, which was a big change in his career. He began using canvas as his main way to create art. His paintings are known for having many layers and bright colors. These elements help him show different feelings and ideas.
