Fioravanti is a fizzy, fruit-flavored drink that first came out in Ecuador in 1878. It's special because it was one of the very first soft drinks sold in stores. In 1991, a big company called The Coca-Cola Company bought Fioravanti.

Exploring Fioravanti's Flavors
Fioravanti first started with a yummy strawberry flavor. Later, an apple flavor was added. In the summer of 2001, a grape flavor was introduced, but it only stayed on shelves for about a year. There was also a bright green apple version called Fiora Manzana Verde, but it wasn't very popular in Ecuador.
Fioravanti in Ecuadorian Culture
In Ecuador, drinking Fioravanti, often called "Fiora" for short, is a big part of everyday life. It's very common for people to ask for "Fiora fresa" (strawberry) or "Fiora Manzana" (apple). This drink has become a well-known part of the country's popular culture.
Because many people from Ecuador live in Spain, Coca-Cola decided to try selling strawberry-flavored Fioravanti there. This test began in mid-October 2006 and lasted for three months.
