Flanimals: The Day of the Bletchling (ISBN: 0571238513) is the fourth book in the fun Flanimals series. It was created by famous British comedian Ricky Gervais and talented illustrator Rob Steen.
This book tells a story about the Flanimals working together. They must team up against a huge group of Bletchlings. The Bletchlings are a species that wants to get rid of all other Flanimal life.

The hardcover version of the book came with a special poster. This poster showed a Clunge Ambler and a Molf. It was a funny copy, or parody, of the movie Jaws.

- Bletchling – These are like "super-bugs" that look like insects. They have very clever and mean brains.
- Zub – This Flanimal is a fluffier and rounder version of a Vap.
- Vap – This creature looks a bit like a wasp.
- Hord Shuffler – This is a blind bug that moves quickly along the ground.
- Monk Worm – This is the young form, or larval stage, of a Frag Drier.
- Frag Drier – This Flanimal is very energetic and looks similar to a dragonfly.
- Mov – This creature is like a moth and loves to stick onto your arm.
- Bant – These are friendly, busy bugs that act a lot like ants.
- Klunt – This Flanimal has very sharp teeth.
- Pseudo Klunt – This creature looks just like a Klunt, but it doesn't have any teeth.
- Hapless Prey – This Flanimal sweats a lot, which makes it easy to spot.
- Bleak – This is a giant Flanimal that doesn't have any fluids to digest food.
- Loan Figger – This creature walks on two legs and looks like a frog.
- Goof Mump – This Flanimal appears in one part of the book but isn't fully described. It is green, looks goofy, and has small, flat wings.
- Strankulator – This is a purple Flanimal that looks like a Crocodile. It lives in rivers and tends to eat any Flanimal that gets too close.
