Flaurling is a small town, also called a municipality, in Austria. It is located in the beautiful Tyrol region, specifically in the Innsbruck Land area. Flaurling sits in the Inn valley, which is a wide valley between the cities of Innsbruck and Telfs. It is found just south of the Inn River.
The town of Flaurling is made up of a few different parts. There's the main Flaurling village, a Flaurling station area with businesses, and Flaurlingberg, which is located on a lower mountain terrace. Flaurling is quite old! It was first written about in history books in the year 763, where it was called "Flurininga".
