Forest Grove (sometimes called Forestgrove) is a small community in Fergus County, Montana, United States. It's known as an unincorporated community, which means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Forest Grove has its own post office, and its special mail code is 59441.

Discovering Forest Grove's Past
Forest Grove began a long time ago, in 1885. This was when ranchers who raised sheep and cattle first came to live in this area. They settled here, and that's how the community started to grow.
Where is Forest Grove Located?
You can find Forest Grove along Forest Grove Road. This road connects it to other small places nearby. To the west, it's near Piper, and to the east, it leads to the town of Grass Range. Forest Grove Road starts from Montana Secondary Highway 238 on its western end. It then travels all the way to Grass Range, where it turns into Grass Range's Main Street.
Nature Around Forest Grove
Two creeks flow right through the community of Forest Grove. These are Surenough Creek and the South Fork McDonald Creek. The local post office is located on Surenuff Road. You can also find the historic Saint Paul's Episcopal Church and the community cemetery on this road.
Ancient Art at Beargulch Pictographs
South of Forest Grove, there's a special place called Beargulch Pictographs. This site is like an outdoor art gallery from the past! It has about 2,000 different drawings and carvings. These are called pictographs (drawings on rock) and petroglyphs (carvings in rock). They were made by Native Americans and early settlers who lived in the area long ago. It's a fascinating look into history.
