History of Grass Range
A post office has been open in Grass Range since 1883. The town likely got its name because it was a good place for animals to graze on grass.
Geography and Location
Grass Range is located at 47°1′34″N 108°48′12″W / 47.02611°N 108.80333°W. A major road, U.S. Route 87, goes through the town. It is about 31 miles (50 km) away from Lewistown.
