Instead, it's part of a larger county area. In 1990, about 20 people lived there. Today, Forest Grove is located within the city limits of Allen. It is also part of the large Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area.

Forest Grove began around 1858. It was settled by farmers near White Rock Creek. This area became a community focused around a church. It was a peaceful place for local farmers. In 1990, only about 20 people called Forest Grove home. Today, this historic community is part of the city of Allen.
