FourFortyFour South Flower is a very tall building, called a skyscraper. It stands at 444 South Flower Street in downtown Los Angeles, California. This building is 627 ft (191 m) tall and has 48 floors! When it was finished in 1981, it was the fifth-tallest building in the city.
Today, the building is owned by a company called Coretrust Capital Partners. They bought it in 2016. Before that, it was owned by other companies, like Beacon Capital Partners.
Amazing Art at FourFortyFour South Flower
FourFortyFour South Flower is home to one of the biggest collections of public art in Los Angeles. When the building was first built, five famous artists from around the world were asked to create special artworks. These pieces are displayed all around the building.
More recently, a new painting was added in 2019. It was created by a local artist named Augustine Kofie.
