Four Corners is a community in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States. It's called a census-designated place (CDP) because it's a special area defined for gathering census data, but it's not officially a city. Four Corners is also close to Houston. In 2020, about 12,103 people lived here. This was a big jump from 2,954 people in 2000!

History of Four Corners
Four Corners started as a small community where many families lived close together. By 2011, it had grown a lot and was becoming a suburban area, meaning more houses and businesses were being built.
Geography of Four Corners
Four Corners is located in the northeastern part of Fort Bend County. It is next to the Mission Bend community to the north. The city of Houston borders Four Corners on its east, south, and west sides.
The United States Census Bureau says that Four Corners covers about 6.6 square kilometers (2.5 square miles). Only a tiny part of this area is water.
The original community was centered around a four-way intersection of Boss Gaston, Old Richmond, and Richmond Gaines roads. By 2011, the area had expanded to include new houses. A journalist named Jeannie Kever noted that Four Corners, once a quiet place, was now growing rapidly.
Carmen Martinez, a long-time resident, mentioned that people used to travel far to get groceries. Now, residents can find many stores right in the local area.

Between 2000 and 2010, the population of Four Corners grew by about four times! By 2011, most residents were Asian Americans, African-Americans, and Latino Americans.
Experts say that many people moved to Fort Bend County, including Four Corners, from other parts of Houston. These new areas were seen as places where different groups could live together. Many minority groups looked for communities where various cultures were present.
Historically, Four Corners has always been a mix of different cultures. In the past, residents were often united by similar economic situations. By 2011, many of the newer residents had higher incomes than the original residents.

- Elementary Schools: Arizona Fleming Elementary and Mary Austin Holley Elementary are located within Four Corners. Other elementary schools like Drabek and Oyster Creek also serve parts of the community.
- Middle Schools: Hodges Bend Middle School is in Four Corners and serves most students. Some students attend Garcia Middle School or Sugar Land Middle School.
- High Schools: Students go to Austin High School, George Bush High School, or Kempner High School. In the past, students also attended Travis High School and Dulles High School.
Community College
Four Corners is part of the Houston Community College (HCC) area. This means students can attend HCC for college courses after high school.
