Four JG's Orchards & Vineyards is a special farm in Colts Neck, New Jersey. It's a place where grapes are grown to make wine. The farm started planting its grapevines in 1999. It then opened its doors to visitors in 2004.

Four JG's has about 40 acres of land where grapes are grown. Each year, they produce a large amount of wine. The name "Four JG's" comes from the four family members who own the farm. All of their names start with the letters "JG."

Grape Varieties and Wines

Four JG's grows several types of grapes to make different kinds of wine. These include Cabernet Franc, Cayuga White, Chambourcin, Chardonnay, Vidal blanc, and Vignoles. Each type of grape gives the wine a unique flavor.

The winery once took part in a special event called the Judgment of Princeton. This was a wine tasting where wines from New Jersey were compared to famous wines from France. It was a chance to show how good New Jersey wines can be!

Helping the Community and Other Groups

Four JG's Orchards & Vineyards also helps with education. They worked with Monmouth University to create a special vineyard and winemaking program on the university campus. This helps students learn how grapes are grown and how wine is made.

The winery is also a member of important groups like the Garden State Wine Growers Association. They are also part of the Outer Coastal Plain Vineyard Association. These groups help wineries in New Jersey work together and grow.
