Francisco de Asís "Francis" Franco y Martínez-Bordiú, born on 9 December 1954, is a Spanish aristocrat. He manages several businesses, including real estate and parking spaces in Madrid. He is the grandson of Francisco Franco, who was a dictator in Spain.

Early Life and Family
Francisco was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1954. He is the third of seven children. He is the oldest son of Cristóbal Martínez-Bordiú, a surgeon, and Carmen Franco. Carmen Franco was the only child of the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco and Carmen Polo.
Francisco has two older sisters, María del Carmen and María de la O. He also has four younger siblings: María del Mar, José Cristóbal, María de Aránzazu, and Jaime Felipe.
Education and Career
Francisco studied Medicine and Surgery at the Autonomous University of Madrid. He earned a degree, but he has never worked as a doctor. Instead, he focuses on his business ventures.
His grandfather, Francisco Franco, asked him to change the order of his surnames. This was done to keep the Franco family name going.
Family and Titles
Francisco Martínez-Bordiú y Franco first married María de Suelves y Figueroa in 1981. They had two sons:
- Francisco Franco y de Suelves (born 1982)
- Juan José Franco y de Suelves (born 1985)
Their marriage ended in 1992.
After his father passed away in 1998, Francisco Franco y Martínez-Bordiú became the 11th Marquess of Villaverde. In 1988, his grandmother, Carmen Polo, passed away. He then became the 2nd Lord of Meirás, which also comes with the special title of Grandee of Spain.
He married again in 2001 to Miriam Guisasola y Carrión. They had two children:
- Alvaro Franco y Guisasola (born 1994)
- Miriam Franco y Guisasola (born 1996)
Their marriage ended in 2014.
