Francesco Sensi (born July 29, 1926 – died August 17, 2008) was an Italian businessman who made a lot of money in the oil industry. He was born in Rome, Italy, and lived there his whole life. He also served as the mayor of Visso, a town where his family came from. Franco Sensi is best known for being the chairman, or leader, of A.S. Roma, a famous football club in Rome, for 15 years until he passed away.

Franco Sensi was a very important person in Italy, especially in the world of business and football. He was known as an "oil tycoon," which means he was very successful and wealthy from his work in the oil industry. He took over A.S. Roma in May 1993, first with Pietro Mezzaroma, and then became the main chairman on November 8, 1993.
