Frantz Benjamin is a Canadian politician from Quebec. He was first elected to the National Assembly of Quebec in the 2018 provincial election. He represents the area called Viau as a member of the Quebec Liberal Party.
Before becoming a Member of the National Assembly, Mr. Benjamin was a member of the Montreal City Council. He represented the Saint-Michel district, which is part of the Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension borough. He also served as the chairman of the city council.
He was first part of the Union Montreal political party. However, in October 2012, he decided to leave the party. He did this because of concerns about how the city government was being run at the time. After leaving, he worked as an independent councillor until June 2013. Then, he joined a new political group called Équipe Denis Coderre.
