Freddy Kalas was born in Drammen, Norway. He started making music around 2009. He is signed to Alter Ego Music, a record label.
His Music Career
Freddy Kalas became very famous with his first big song, "Pinne for landet". This song went straight to number one on the official Norwegian music chart, called VG lista. His next song, "Hey Ho," was also a huge hit. It reached number two on the same chart.
In 2016, Freddy Kalas wanted to represent Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest. He joined the Norwegian competition called Melodi Grand Prix with his song "Feel Da Rush." He did really well in the contest. He made it to the final four and finished as the runner-up. This means he came in second place. His song "Feel Da Rush" was very popular with the public. It also reached number two on the Norwegian Singles Chart.
Freddy Kalas has a brother who is also a musician. His brother, Simen Auke, is part of the well-known DJ duo called Broiler.
