Derrick Coleman (born July 4, 1990 – died January 19, 2018), known as Fredo Santana, was an American rapper. He was born in Chicago, Illinois. Fredo Santana was the older cousin of another well-known Chicago rapper, Chief Keef.
Fredo Santana started his music career in 2011. He quickly became known for his unique style in hip hop music, especially in the drill and trap genres. His first studio album, Trappin Ain't Dead, was released on October 31, 2013. This album was put out through his own record label, Savage Squad Records.
Fredo Santana passed away on January 19, 2018, in Los Angeles, California. He was 27 years old. His death was caused by kidney failure after a seizure.
