History of Freeburg
Freeburg had its own post office starting in 1858. This post office helped people send and receive mail for many years. It stayed open until it closed in 1947. Many of the first people to settle in Freeburg were from Germany. They named their new home after a city in Germany called Freiburg, Germany.
