The Story of Funyuns
How Funyuns Got Their Name
The snack was almost called "OnYums." However, that name was already taken by another company. So, a professor and writer named Jim Albright came up with the name "Funyuns." This new name stuck, and that's what we call them today!
Funyuns on TV
When Funyuns first came out, their TV commercials used a fun song. It was a different version of a 1966 song called "I Love Onions." This helped people learn about the new snack.
