Gabriel Braga Nunes is a Brazilian actor. He was born on February 7, 1972. He is famous for acting in many Brazilian TV shows called telenovelas. Some of his well-known roles were in Essas Mulheres, Cidadão Brasileiro, Caminhos do Coração, and Poder Paralelo. He also played a big part in Insensato Coração on TV Globo.

Acting Career
Gabriel Braga Nunes studied Theatre Arts at the University of Campinas. He started his TV career in 1996. His first role was Mário in the telenovela Razão de Viver on SBT.
In 1997, he acted as a photographer in the miniseries Por Amor e Ódio on Rede Record. After that, he worked in several popular soap operas for Rede Globo. These included O Beijo do Vampiro, Terra Nostra, and Anjo Mau.
Key Roles and Success
In 2006, Gabriel returned to Rede Record. He had a very successful role as Fernando Seixas in Essas Mulheres. Later, he starred as Antonio Maciel in Cidadão Brasileiro. In 2009, he was the main actor in the telenovela Poder Paralelo. He played Antonio Castellamare alongside actress Paloma Duarte. After acting in five soap operas in five years, Gabriel decided to take a break from television.
However, in late 2010, he was asked to join the miniseries As Cariocas. He appeared in the episode "A Atormentada da Tijuca" with Paola Oliveira. This was his first time working with Globo again.
Gabriel played the bad guy, Léo, in the telenovela Insensato Coração. After this show ended, he signed a four-year contract with Globo.
In 2011, he acted in a play called Caminhos da Independência. He played Dom Pedro I, an important historical figure. In 2013, he was chosen to play the mysterious Teacher Aristóbulo in Saramandaia.
In 2014, Braga Nunes played Laerte, a main character in the third part of the telenovela Em Família. In the same year, he was cast in a new telenovela by Gilberto Braga, called Babilônia.
Family Life
Gabriel Braga Nunes is the son of famous actress Regina Braga and director Celso Nunes. His younger sister, Nina Braga Nunes, is a theater producer. She is two years younger than him.
In April 2014, Gabriel married Isabel Nascimento Silva. She works as an assistant director. In June of the same year, their first daughter, Maria, was born.
