Gabriele Tinti (born August 22, 1932 – died November 12, 1991) was a talented Italian actor. He appeared in many movies and TV shows during his career. He was married to the famous actress and model Laura Gemser.
Biography
Gabriele Tinti was born in Molinella, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. He started acting very young, appearing in his first movie in 1948. This movie was called Difficult Years.
His first big role came in 1954 in the movie Chronicle of Poor Lovers. He often played characters who were friendly and full of energy.
Gabriele Tinti also acted in American TV shows. In 1968, he was in the final episode of The Andy Griffith Show. This episode helped introduce a new TV series called Mayberry R.F.D..
He also worked in French films. In 1964, he appeared in The Troops of St. Tropez. Later, in 1971, he played Don César in Delusions of Grandeur. The French press even called him the "Italian Alain Delon" because he was so popular.
Gabriele Tinti was married twice. His first marriage was to Brazilian actress Norma Bengell from 1963 to 1969. He then married actress Laura Gemser in 1976. They remained married until his death in 1991.
Gabriele Tinti passed away in Rome, Italy, in 1991, at the age of 59.
