Gad Elbaz (Hebrew: גד אלבז) is a famous Israeli Jewish singer. He has become well-known around the world and has released many albums.
About Gad Elbaz
Gad Elbaz comes from a Moroccan Jewish family. He started singing and writing music when he was only four years old. His first public appearance was with his father, Benny Elbaz, who is also a singer. They sang a song together called "Father I Love You." Gad has appeared on four albums with his father.
When Gad was 20, he met his wife, Maran. She was a fan of his music! Later, he started his own solo career. He has released ten albums by himself, including "Walk in a Straight Path" (1998) and "Light at the End of the Tunnel" (2003). His most recent album is "Lechaim" (2017).
Gad is known for his big world tours. He travels to many cities to share his music and message. His "Hashem Melech Tour" had over 180 shows in 53 cities! His music videos are often shown on Israel's Music 24 TV channel.
In 2017 and 2018, Gad Elbaz was the most-watched Orthodox Jewish singer on YouTube.
