Gaheris was known for being brave and quick. He was also described as handsome. An interesting detail about him was that his left arm was shorter than his right arm. He was one of the many knights who served King Arthur at his famous Round Table.

His Family

Gaheris was part of a very important family in the Arthurian legends. He had several brothers who were also knights. His most famous brother was Gawain, who was one of the greatest knights of the Round Table. His other brothers included Agravain and Gareth. Together, they were known as the Orkney brothers, as their father, Sir Lot, was the King of Orkney.

In the stories, Gaheris often appeared alongside his brothers. He was known for his loyalty to his family and to King Arthur. Like many knights, he went on quests and fought in battles. His adventures helped shape the exciting tales of King Arthur's court.

How His Story Ends

Sadly, Gaheris's story has a tragic end. In some versions of the legends, he was killed by Lancelot. This happened during a time when Lancelot was in a conflict with King Arthur's family. Gaheris's death was a sad moment in the tales of the Round Table.
