The series was created by Chris Columbus. He is known for directing movies like Home Alone and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. The music and theme song for Galaxy High were made by Don Felder. He was a guitarist for the band The Eagles. Later, the show was re-aired on the Sci-Fi Channel.

Story of Galaxy High

This cartoon is about two teenagers from Earth, Doyle Cleverlobe and Aimee Brighttower. They get a chance to go to an amazing school in space! This school, called Galaxy High School, is located on an asteroid named Flutor.

On Earth, Doyle was a popular athlete. Aimee was very smart but not very popular. When they arrive at Galaxy High, their lives change a lot. Aimee, the smart and shy girl, quickly makes friends with the alien students. But Doyle, the popular jock, finds it hard to fit in. He often upsets the aliens without meaning to.

Even though Doyle struggles, Aimee always supports him. She suggests he can use his great sports skills to make friends. He ends up helping Galaxy High win a championship in a sport called "psych-hockey." This was a game Galaxy High always lost before! The show hinted that Doyle and Aimee might become more than friends. However, the series ended after only one season, so their story didn't get to continue.

Meet the Students and Teachers

The students at Galaxy High are very unique!

  • Gilda Gossip has many mouths and loves to share news.

  • Milo de Venus is the class president and has six arms.
  • Beef and the Bonk Bunch are the school bullies. They often pick on Doyle.
  • The Creep is a small, marshmallow-like alien. He has a huge crush on Aimee and often sings to her.

The teachers are just as unusual:

  • Ms. Biddy McBrain has a light bulb attached to her head.
  • Coach Frogface loves to eat flies.
  • Professor Icenstein needs to keep his classroom very cold, or he will melt!

Episodes

Welcome to Galaxy High

Doyle and Aimee arrive at Galaxy High. Doyle expects to be popular, but Aimee, the smart one, quickly makes friends. Milo de Venus gives them a tour. Doyle finds himself unpopular and has to work at a pizza place to pay for school. Aimee gets a scholarship and a cool space car. Doyle gets a scooter. Doyle also makes enemies with the Bonk Bunch. Their leader, Beef Bonk, doesn't like Earthlings. But Doyle wins a game of Zuggleball, which is like hockey, and gains some popularity. He learns that being popular might be harder to keep up with in space.

Pizza's Honor

Luigi, who owns the pizza place, gets a huge order for 100 pizzas. They need to be delivered to a planet called Tingler, which people say is haunted. Everyone is scared of Tingler. Doyle is chosen to deliver the pizzas. He agrees to keep "pizza's honor" because Luigi is famous for delivering anywhere. Doyle becomes known for his bravery. Beef and his gang try to scare Doyle on Tingler, but they end up crashing. Doyle meets a repairman named Mutie who fixes his shuttle. Doyle learns that Tingler isn't so scary after all, and the bullies are more afraid than he is!

The Beef Who Would Be King

After watching Beef and Doyle play pranks, aliens from the planet Cholesterol arrive. They want to make Beef their "High Cholesterol" king. Aimee thinks Doyle would be a better king. She challenges Beef to a space race for Doyle. Doyle wins, but Beef cheated, which is what the aliens wanted. So, Beef becomes king. Professor Icenstein tells Doyle and Milo that the Cholesterols eat their king every year! Doyle and Milo think Beef deserves it, but Aimee convinces them to rescue him. Doyle saves Beef, and they escape. Doyle hopes they will be friends, but Beef goes back to being a bully.

Where's Milo?

Milo has a string of bad luck. His friends start to avoid him, and Luigi fires him. He signs a contract with a store owner, Al Gatori. Gatori is interested in Milo's six arms. But it's a trick! The contract says Milo will become a living mannequin. Gatori freezes him with a ray. Doyle and his friends realize Milo would never agree to this. Doyle leads a rescue mission. He reminds everyone that Milo was always loyal to them when they were down. They work together to save Milo.

Those Eyes, Those Lips

All the girls are excited because rock star Mick Maggers is having a concert at Galaxy High. Booey is a huge fan but can't get a ticket. Aimee tries to help Booey meet Mick. Meanwhile, Beef and his gang get jobs as security for Mick to get into the concert. But a pizza monster kidnaps Wendy! Doyle accidentally created the monster by adding a special ingredient to pizza. Booey sneaks onto Mick's ship and meets a guy named James. James helps everyone, and it turns out he has a big surprise for them.

Doyle's New Friend

Everyone is getting ready for the Hands Across the Universe Dance. Aimee is expected to be voted Queen. Beef wants to be King, even though no one votes for him. Doyle becomes friends with Wolfgang Armadillos, a student from another school. Wolfgang comes for the dance. But Wolfgang's pranks upset Doyle's friends. Beef recruits Wolfgang into his gang. They try to switch the ballot boxes for the King and Queen election. But Wolfgang tricks Beef and helps Doyle and his friends instead.

Dollars and Sense

Reginald Unicycle, a super-rich student, returns to Galaxy High. Wendy wants to date him, but Reggie falls for Aimee. Aimee starts dating him, but her friends are suspicious. The Creep is very jealous. Ms. McBrain tells the Creep that Reggie has the "Midas Touch." The Creep thinks Reggie will turn Aimee into gold! He convinces Doyle and others to rescue her from Reggie's party on the Platinum Planet. They mistake a golden statue of Aimee for the real Aimee. Aimee eventually realizes Reggie isn't truly interested in her and returns to Galaxy High.

Beach Blanket Blow-Up

Doyle wants to go to Fort Lauderoid for Spring Break with Wendy. He tricks Aimee into lending him her car. Aimee is upset when she finds out. Doyle can't go anyway because he failed Professor Icenstein's class. He needs to do a science project to pass. Meanwhile, Reggie takes everyone to the beach on his space yacht. Aimee realizes she likes Reggie. Doyle passes his project about supernovas. He discovers that Fort Lauderoid's sun is about to explode! He and Icenstein go to warn everyone. Aimee thinks Doyle wants to ask her to be his girlfriend, but he tells everyone about the supernova. They think it's a joke.

The Brain Blaster

Doyle is amazing at psych-hockey, and the whole school cheers him on. But he's struggling with his schoolwork. Coach Frogface tells him he needs to study to stay eligible to play. A shady character offers Doyle a "Brain Blaster" to make him smarter. Doyle refuses at first. But after a hard test, he tries it. The first use is free, but then it costs money. Doyle has more tests, so he keeps using it. He starts stealing to pay for it. The Brain Blaster also makes him dumber in other ways. When his supply runs out, Doyle's friends find him and rescue him. They get rid of the Brain Blaster. Doyle thinks he can't win the championship without it. But he learns that using the Brain Blaster was cheating.

The Brat Pack

Beef makes his hot rod faster and uses it to annoy Doyle and his friends. He crashes into the teachers' table. Ms. McBrain punishes him by making him teach elementary school kids. The kids torment Beef. He promises to take them to an amusement park called Nova Land if they behave. But he needs Ms. McBrain's permission, and she rarely gives it. Beef decides to take them anyway. Aimee, Doyle, and Milo, who are on monitor duty, agree to help him.

Founder's Day

On Founder's Day, the anniversary of Galaxy High, Beef chases Doyle, Aimee, Milo, and the Creep into Professor Icenstein's lab. They hide in one of his inventions. Beef and Roland accidentally activate it, and it turns out to be a time machine! Doyle and his friends travel to the past, to the barren asteroid Flutor, where Galaxy High will be built. The Flutorians charge them a lot of money for "discovering" the place. If they don't pay, the asteroid will be destroyed! A younger Luigi appears, running a pancake house. Binny McBrain works as his waitress. Doyle and Milo try to convince Luigi to open a pizza place. Aimee learns that Ms. McBrain wants to teach, but her planet doesn't allow women to work. Aimee broadcasts an advertisement for the place to the whole galaxy. Different alien races, who usually hate each other, show up. A galaxy cop named Dingy Harry breaks up a fight. He likes the idea of a boarding school on Flutor with Ms. McBrain as headmistress. Milburn Unicycle appears at the last minute and pays the Flutorians. He agrees to build Galaxy High School if it includes a school for his toddler son, Reggie. The kids return to their own time. Ms. McBrain says they remind her of a group she met on Founder's Day who helped found the school.

Martian Mumps

Milo, as class president, has to welcome a new Martian student. He's not happy because Martians only care about rules. When he touches the new student, he gets an electric shock. He then passes it to everyone else he touches. Milo feels sick, so Doyle and Aimee take him to his room. The next day, everyone at school has lost their personalities and only cares about rules. Professor Icenstein, who was in his lab all night, explains they have Martian Mumps. This disease turns aliens into Martians. Doyle and Aimee can't catch it because Earthlings are immune. Everyone else will become permanent Martians in 24 hours, and there's no cure! They convince Icenstein to try to find one. A starship arrives to quarantine Galaxy High. Doyle accidentally cures Beef by making him angry. Icenstein realizes that playing on a strong emotion will turn them back to normal. Doyle, Aimee, and Beef then work to cure their friends and teachers.

It Came From Earth

Galaxy High is in the Zuggleball championships. Doyle wants to win the game all by himself. He's doing well until he gets knocked out. Doyle wakes up on Earth, and 15 years have passed! He's now 400 feet tall. Aimee is a doctor, Milo is President, Beef is a general, and many others from Galaxy High are on Earth. Professor Icenstein has been trying to cure Doyle's growth. Doyle causes a lot of damage, and the military, led by Beef, tries to stop him. Suddenly, Doyle wakes up at his normal size. It was all a dream! He was only knocked out for 15 seconds. Doyle learns his lesson and finishes the game, this time playing as a team.
