Where is Gantt Located?
Gantt is in the western part of Greenville County. It is located at about 34.78 degrees North and 82.40 degrees West.
The city of Greenville is right next to Gantt on its northeast side. Another community called Dunean borders Gantt to the northwest.
Travel and Roads in Gantt
A major highway, Interstate 85, goes right through the middle of Gantt. You can get on or off I-85 using exits 44, 45, and 46.
- If you drive northeast on I-85, you will reach Spartanburg in about 30 miles.
- If you drive southwest on I-85, you will reach Atlanta in about 140 miles.
Another important road, U.S. Route 25, also goes through Gantt. It is known as White Horse Road here. US 25 crosses I-85 at Exit 44.
- Driving north on US 25 will take you to Parker, a suburb of Greenville, in about 6 miles.
- Driving south on US 25 will take you to Greenwood in about 46 miles.
- Downtown Greenville is about 6 miles north if you take US 25 and US 29.
