Garlon Green, born on January 11, 1991, is an American professional basketball player. He plays as a small forward or shooting guard. Garlon has played for many teams around the world, including in Australia, Japan, Germany, and France. He is also the younger brother of former NBA player Gerald Green. Garlon is known for his exciting plays, and he even won a slam dunk contest in Germany! Currently, he plays for Fos Provence Basket in France.

College Career
After finishing high school in his hometown, Garlon Green went to Texas Christian University. There, he played basketball for the TCU Horned Frogs team. He even took part in the 2013 NCAA Slam Dunk Contest, showing off his amazing jumping skills.
Professional Career
Garlon Green has had a long and exciting professional basketball journey. He has played for teams in many different countries.
Starting Out (2014-2015)
After college, Green first played for the Texas Legends in the NBA Development League. Later in 2014, he signed with the Canberra Gunners in Australia. He played very well there, averaging 24 points and 7 rebounds per game. Because of his great performance, he soon moved to Japan to play for the Kumamoto Volters in the National Basketball League.
Time in Germany (2015-2016)
For the 2015–16 season, Green joined the Walter Tigers Tübingen in Germany's top league, the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). During his time there, he had a funny moment in a game against Basketball Löwen Braunschweig. In the last second of the game, he accidentally scored a missed free throw into his own basket! This surprising play was even shown on the famous American TV show Inside the NBA in their Shaqtin' a Fool segment.
Green also showed off his skills at the BBL All-Star Game in 2016. He won the exciting slam dunk contest, proving he could make some incredible dunks. He also played in the All-Star Game itself.
Playing in Belgium and Russia (2017-2019)
In February 2017, Green moved to Belgium to play for Belfius Mons-Hainaut in the Pro Basketball League. After that, he played for the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2018 NBA Summer League. In November 2018, he signed a one-year deal with Khimki, a team from Russia that plays in the VTB United League and EuroLeague.
Adventures in Israel and Russia (2019-2020)
In February 2019, Green joined Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Israeli Premier League. He had a great game on March 31, 2019, scoring 22 points and helping his team win. Later, in August 2019, he signed with BC Enisey, another team in the VTB United League.
Poland and Romania (2020-2022)
In July 2020, Green signed with Anwil Włocławek in the Polish Basketball League (PLK). Then, in December 2020, he moved to Romania to play for CSM Oradea in the Liga Națională. He played there for two seasons, averaging about 10 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. With CSM Oradea, he helped the team win bronze medals in the FIBA Europe Cup.
France and BIG3 (2022-Present)
In July 2022, Garlon Green signed with Fos Provence Basket in France. He also joined the BIG3 league in the United States, a professional 3-on-3 basketball league. He was drafted by the Tri-State team in May 2022.
Personal Life
Garlon Green's older brother, Gerald Green, is also a very famous professional basketball player. Gerald won the exciting NBA Slam Dunk Contest in 2007. It seems that dunking talent runs in the Green family!
