Garret Lee Dillahunt (born November 24, 1964) is an American actor. He is well-known for his many roles in TV shows and movies. You might recognize him as Burt Chance from the comedy show Raising Hope. He also played John Dorie in the popular series Fear the Walking Dead. Garret Dillahunt has appeared in many other shows like Deadwood and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. In movies, he has been in films such as No Country for Old Men and 12 Years a Slave.

Early Life and Education
Garret Dillahunt was born in Castro Valley, California. He grew up in a place called Selah, Washington. He has two brothers.
He went to the University of Washington and earned a degree in journalism. Later, he studied acting at New York University's Graduate Acting Program. He earned a Master of Fine Arts degree there.
Acting Career Highlights
After finishing school, Garret Dillahunt spent several years performing in plays. He acted in many theater productions in New York City. Soon, he started getting roles in television and movies.
