Raising Hope is an American sitcom. A sitcom is a funny TV show that usually has the same characters in different funny situations each week. This show was on TV from September 21, 2010, to April 4, 2014, on the Fox channel.

About the Show
Raising Hope tells the story of the Chance family. They are a working-class family who live in a small town. The main character is Jimmy Chance, played by Lucas Neff.
One day, Jimmy has a baby with a woman he just met. When the woman goes to jail, Jimmy has to raise their baby daughter, Hope. This is a big surprise for him!
Jimmy lives with his parents, Virginia and Burt. They are played by Martha Plimpton and Garret Dillahunt. His great-grandmother, Maw Maw, played by Cloris Leachman, also lives with them. The show is about their funny adventures as they learn to raise baby Hope together.
