Gary Leroy Brown (July 1, 1969 – April 10, 2022) was an American professional football player. He played as a running back for eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Gary played for three different teams between 1991 and 1999. Before playing professionally, he played college football at Penn State. He was chosen by the Houston Oilers in the 1991 NFL Draft. After his playing career, he became a successful coach, including coaching running backs at the University of Wisconsin.
