Gawurra facts for kids
Stanley Gawurra Gaykamangu, known simply as Gawurra, is an Australian singer and songwriter. He comes from a place called Milingimbi in North East Arnhem Land. Gawurra sings in the Gupapuyngu language, which is a traditional language from his home area.
His first album, called Ratja Yaliyali, means "vine of love". This album is a group of songs that are based on the traditional stories and songs from his hometown. He recorded Ratja Yaliyali at CAAMA Music in Alice Springs, Australia.
