Gaylord is a small city located in Smith County, Kansas, United States. In 2020, the city had a population of 87 people.

History of Gaylord

Gaylord was started in 1870. It was named after C. E. Gaylord, who was one of the people who helped found the town. He was from Marshall County. The first post office in Gaylord opened in June 1871. Gaylord also had a station on the Missouri Pacific Railroad.
