Gene Noble was born in Manhattan, Kansas. When he was a child, he traveled a lot with his father, who was in the US military. His father passed away in 1986 when Gene was only four years old, while trying to help another person. Later, Gene moved to Long Island, New York with his mother and brother.
About a year after moving, he started playing the piano and writing poetry. He was inspired by famous musicians like Prince and D’Angelo. This led him to decide that he wanted to become a musical artist himself.
