Generation O! was an exciting American animated TV show that mixed music and comedy! It was made by Sunbow Entertainment and aired from 2000 to 2001. The show was first called Molly O! in some places. It was created by David Hale, Tim Newman, James Proimos, and Suzanne Collins. You might know Suzanne Collins because she later wrote the super popular The Hunger Games books!
The show had a unique look thanks to James Proimos's art style. Every episode featured at least one new song and a music video. These songs were always connected to the story of the episode. For example, if Molly got mad at her brother, she might write a song about it! Most of the songs were written by David Hale and David Buskin.
This fun show aired on Kids' WB in the United States and YTV in Canada. Kids' WB showed it as part of their "Fraturdays" block. A total of 13 episodes were made. In other parts of the world, it was shown on Nickelodeon in Latin America and Australia. The Disney Channel aired it in the UK, and TG4 in Ireland even dubbed it into Irish! In Singapore, the series was broadcast on Kids Central.

Meet the Band: Generation O!
Generation O! is all about Molly O, an 8-year-old rock star. She's the lead singer of her band, also called "Generation O!"
Her bandmates are:
- Nub: The bassist, who is an older British musician.
- Eddie: Molly's cousin, who plays the guitar.
- Yo-Yo: The drummer, who is a kangaroo!
- Colonel Bob: The band's manager.
Molly also spends a lot of time with her best friend, Chadd. She often tries to avoid her annoying brother, Buzz.
Music in the Show
Music was a huge part of Generation O!. Each episode had a brand new song. These songs were performed by the alternative rock band Letters to Cleo. Even though the show's writers wrote most of the songs, Letters to Cleo actually wrote the catchy opening theme song for the show!
