Speaking Out Against Trump
In November 2018, Conway and another lawyer, Neal Katyal, wrote an article for The New York Times. They questioned if President Trump's choice for acting attorney general was allowed by the Constitution. They argued that the Senate should approve people for important jobs.
Conway also started a group called Checks and Balances in November 2018. This group included many conservative lawyers. They wanted other conservatives to speak up about what they saw as the Trump administration's actions against basic legal rules.
