About George Houvardas
George Houvardas was born in Sydney, Australia. His mother, Anastasia, is a teacher. His father, Michael, is an accountant. George has two brothers, Steve and Tony.
George went to Screenwise drama school. He also helps out at his family's restaurant in McMahons Point, Sydney.
When he was in school, George was very good at sports. He was the school marathon champion from years 7 to 10. He also won Goalkeeper of the Year in soccer. He even played in the NSW State Championships.
George's Acting Career
George Houvardas started his acting career in 2008. His very first audition led to a big role.
Packed to the Rafters
From 2008 to 2013, George played Nick "Carbo" Karandonis in the popular TV series Packed to the Rafters. This role made him well-known.
In 2021, George returned to play Carbo again. This was for Back to the Rafters, a six-part series. It was shown on Amazon Prime.

In 2009, George had a guest role in the second season of East West 101.
He also appeared on Dancing with the Stars in 2010. This was a reality show on the Seven Network.
