George Houvardas is an Australian actor. He is best known for his role as Nick "Carbo" Karandonis in the popular TV series Packed to the Rafters.

George Houvardas was born in Sydney, Australia. His mother, Anastasia, is a teacher, and his father, Michael, is an accountant. He has two brothers, Steve and Tony.

George studied acting at the Screenwise drama school. He also works part-time with his brothers at his family's restaurant in McMahons Point, Sydney.

During his school years, George was a talented athlete. From Year 7 to Year 10, he was the school's marathon champion. He also won Goalkeeper of the Year in soccer and played in the NSW State Championships.

George's Acting Career

George Houvardas got his first acting role in 2008. He played Nick "Carbo" Karandonis in the TV show Packed to the Rafters. He was on the show from 2008 to 2013.

In 2021, George returned to play Carbo in Back to the Rafters. This was a special six-part series shown on Amazon Prime.

In 2009, George also had a guest role in the second season of another TV show called East West 101. In 2010, he appeared on Season 10 of the reality show Dancing with the Stars.
