Georgie Glen grew up in Helensburgh, Scotland. She first studied graphic design at the Glasgow School of Art. After that, she worked for five years as a book designer at Thames and Hudson publishers.
Later, she decided to become an actress. She studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School for two years. After finishing her studies, she worked at the Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich, England, for a year.
